Outdoor Sun Prairie Farmers’ Market to Begin on Saturday, May 4

The 2024 Outdoor Sun Prairie Farmers’ Market is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, May 4, and will continue every Saturday from May through October, operating from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Downtown Sun Prairie. This year's market is proudly presented by Salvatore’s Tomato Pies.

The Farmers’ Market is proud to present a fantastic lineup of local farmers, artisan food producers, and makers from the surrounding local area. These vendors have dedicated an enormous amount of time and effort to bring community members the highest quality products around.

Opening day activities include:

· Enjoy live music by Mark Gonwa from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

· Visit the non-profit community booth hosted by the City’s Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department and the Sun Prairie Historical Museum.

· Embark on a historic Downtown Walking Tour starting at 10:30 a.m. at Cannery Square.

· Explore special offerings from various Downtown Sun Prairie businesses open during market hours.

During the 2024 market season, one can expect a variety of monthly community events, live music, and fun for the entire family.

“The Sun Prairie Farmers Market continues to grow and expand the exceptional offering of locally grown and produced foods and goods for our community,” said Sarah Wells, Sun Prairie Farmers Market Manager. “We are really excited to get the 2024 season kicked off and welcome friends and neighbors back to the market on Saturdays in Downtown Sun Prairie.”
