From Main Street in Sun Prairie, head north on Rickel Rd. The Sunshine Place lobby and Food Pantry are on the left at 18 Rickel Rd. Two additional buildings with services at 1632 and 1610 W. Main St.
About Us
Sunshine Place started as a vision of a small group of citizens in 2001. Established in 2007, Sunshine Place has grown to become a single point of access to social services for residents of Sun Prairie, eastern Dane County, and beyond.
Sunshine Place provides one location where community members in need can access help with food, housing, and other barriers to family and household stability. The nonprofit houses its own programs and also provides space for partner agencies to co-locate services, creating a unique service model that provides easy access to holistic services that help families and individuals not only survive, but thrive.
Reflecting its grassroots beginnings, Sunshine Place programs are powered by more than 3,600 volunteers annually.
