About Us

Founded in 1969, Mounds Pet Food Warehouse is an employee-owned and locally operated pet food and pet supply company located in Wisconsin with five locations: Middleton, Fitchburg, Janesville, Madison, and Sun Prairie.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Mounds is well known for our community involvement with local humane societies, dog clubs, service animal groups, rescue groups, and police K-9 units. In addition to charitable contributions, we encourage local non-profit animal groups to sign up for in-store events to inform the public about adoption options and how to get involved locally. PET ADOPTION
Mounds is committed to reducing pet overpopulation. For that reason, Mounds hosts in-store Satellite Adoption Centers at select locations that are staffed and run my local humane societies. Mounds also partners with local humane societies and rescue organizations that offer temporary homes to homeless animals. Visit the feline adoption center in Sun Prairie, which is run by Dane County Humane Society volunteers.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Mounds employees receive extensive customer service and pet product training, which allows Mounds to offer a level of customer service that creates loyal, satisfied customers who continue to return to Mounds.

SHOP WITH YOUR PETS
Feel free to bring your pet along when you shop at Mounds. For our safety and yours, please keep your pet on a six foot, or shorter, non-retractable leash or secured in a crate.
