This Workshop reviews from a legal perspective the various forms of business organizations and their characteristics. It is designed for those who are considering beginning a business, who are in the earliest stages of forming a business, or who are thinking of changing their current business form. Participants will be able to compare the organizational structures and evaluate which options are compatible with the goals and long term plans of the owners, no matter what phase that their business
Our Speaker for this Workshop is SCORE Member Fran Zollers. Fran is a Professor Emerita of Law & Public Policy in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. She has also taught as a visiting professor at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University, and was a visiting scholar at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. Her teaching areas include business organizations, entrepreneurship law, and intellectual property.
